This little ditty was sitting in the most recent Sneaker Freaker newsletter.
It’s tiny, but it’s a hint at what will be inside issue #16. Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 850. Word is there’s going to be a very patriotic theme that flows through them as well… You heard it here first! We can tell you that they feature Kangaroo leather that’s right mate! Doesn’t get much more Aussie than that eh skip?
*Super Update* Some more sneak peaks of these via SF’s own MAFIA after the jump. A little more info too; these feature an ‘oatmeal’ coloured midsole, accented by a white sole, just in case you were wondering what the deal was there.

Release is set for December this year. Woody mentions in Sneaker Freaker Issue 16, that they took the 850 and added padding to both the heel and tongue to fix up the shape a bit. To get the full low-down grab yourself an issue of Sneaker Freaker Magazine, Issue 16 here

As for implementing kangaroo-leather, it would look killer too on a pair of Kangaroos Hightops with the zip-pocket on the sides -> instant $$$
