SNS x New Balance – Round 4

The guys at SNS just released info about their fourth time collaborating with New Balance. See below what they had to say:

Sneakersnstuff and New Balance are no strangers to each other. When Sneakersnstuff now celebrates a decade in business we are happy to introduce the fourth collaborative project between us – the RGB Pack. It includes a M577, M1500 and a M1700. All designed in Stockholm, Sweden and handmade at the legendary Flimby Factory in England…

Will be available at selected retailers worldwide later this year. Stay tuned for more information.

Top notch leather. Perforated pig skin toebox. 3M details.
4 sets of laces (red, black, grey & white).

M1500 SNS GREEN
Top notch leather and mesh details. 3M piping.
3 sets of laces (white, green & grey).

M1700 SNS BLUE
Top notch man made materials. Ripstop upper. All veggie!
3 sets of laces (dark navy, blue & yellow).

My personal opinion on this pack is as follows:

577 looks like a red version of their last black ones. Monotone red shoes always look good to me, but they’re oh so hard to pull off.

It’s nice to see the 1500 used with a different colour for once. Good to see the original sole colours too, but the shape is just uurgh. That and I feel the 1500 has been well and truly rinsed now.

1700 is a comfortable shoe but it really isn’t the sleekest looking silhouette around. Not even Brisbane’s colours can save it from looking like a lump of lard.
