I thought I was gonna hate this clip cause im not big on the song but there are some pretty dope visuals and also the cameo of the new Jaguar Xj is noteworthy.

I recently discovered this Japanese label by chance while looking for some new denim. Whilst this label does in fact do denim, it was their apparel which caught my eye. The pattern on the lining of the “Pinwheel” jacket appealed to my love of the 50′s misfit and hot rodder fashion. From there things snowballed when I read just how these garments are constructed.

Currently both the Art Gallery and Modern Art Gallery are exhibiting the 6th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art. Make sure you take the time to check out these incredible displays, our photographs dont do them justice it is something you really need to see in person.

The Lovewright Company is a brand I’ve been a fan of for a few years now. They belong in the pool of brands that do alot of clothing I really like (Fiberops, Commune and Lovewright Co.). For their latest project they teamed up with a few artists you may (or may not) be familiar with. They include Eddie Hahm (Commune & Fast Eddies Garage), Benji Escobar (The Hundreds), Eevl Goose and a few other artists you normally wouldn’t think would dabble in the medium of apparel prints.
I can’t really comment on the collection other than saying I think it looks great because I’m pretty biased toward the stuff these guys do.

I’m a little slow to post this but it’s one of my favourite things. Way better than shitty chinese chocolates and lead-based paints. Click the pic to be redirected to the calendar.

Dame Dash seems to be making all the right moves these days, first with his super music group BlakRoc drops one of the best albums of 2009 and now brings a unique online exclusive channel that showcases cutting edge music, fashion and art. The videos on Creative Control are shot in beautiful HD and always has a very urban feel to them, very raw and yet calculated just sort of the thing that stands out. Check it out here.

It’s 1992. A young man sits hunched over his grandmother’s old sewing machine in a shed in Ballarat, Australia. He is trying to get the machine to sew through a truck tarp, so he can make a bag strong enough to carry a slab of beer home on his bike. That young man was Stuart Crumpler, whose fate later on in life introduces him to a Melbourne based messenger company owner Dave Roper and Will Miller, joined forces together and they became one of the best bag producers.

PostSecret is a gallery of postcard-sized images posted anonymously to unveil a secret. Shared confessions in art form. The creator has taken his massively popular blog into book form and this is a video that has been popping up some places. Really well put together and interesting in a very quirky way, its unusual yet mesmerizing.
“You may find the brave voices captured in this short film haunting, shocking and humorous. In some of their faces you’ll see joy, anguish and grace as they trust you with their confession. Please tell your friends about this short and thank you for supporting PostSecret by buying the books for yourself or as gifts.”
