There’s a few things about the newly announced Livestock x Ferrari x Puma pack that really annoy me. Rather than subjecting everyone that reads the site to my mindless drivel, I’ll post my thoughts after the jump.

“Australia’s most popular and highest-selling shoe, the Volley International sneaker, is now available within the US market. Spring 2010 welcomes three colorways, including a white/blue, white/green, and tonal black. Retailing for $60 USD, they are now available exclusively through Steven Alan New York & Los Angeles with several other accounts opening this season.” – Via Hypebeast
Just take a little time to soak that in… Volleys… $60us… on a streetwear blog… What has the scene come to, seriously? But hey, maybe I can sell my “vintage” grass stained Volleys to some kid in Texas for $300.

“Lanvin has coalesced with Converse to bring the Lanvin x Converse Pro Leather ‘76 Hi to the market. The sneakers are meant to symbolically celebrate Lanvin’s 120th anniversary. The collaboration conveys heritage with its distinctly vintage look marked by its ’70s era silhouette and aged white sole. Premium white leather comprises the upper and the navy Converse emblem, Lanvin heel patch, and laces provide contrast ornamentation.
This sneaker will be released in a limited quantity of 120 pairs, another symbolic means to celebrate Lanvin’s anniversary.”
If you know me I abide by the code if it ain’t about me, I’m not about it. However! When shit like this presents itself with “100% Wank Factor”, I gotta call it out. I like some Lanvin stuff but good god don’t mess with something unless your changing it to rep your flavour. These shoes were made famous on the hardwood, worn by a bunch of ugly dudes who were more concerned about logo on their Chest than on their Shoes.
Here is a trend that should die, ” STOP TAKING CLASSICS AND CALLING IT YOUR COLLABO!”.
Rant over
