I have been a big fan of the comedy stylings of Terry Crews for a long time, he has always stood out from being the hard working father on Everybody Hates Chris, internet meme sensation of the Old Spice ads to being the only memorable part of the movie “White Chicks” where we all first witnessed his amazing dancing skills. This is both amazing and hilarious, truly a committed character actor.

A few good dudes I know got together to form a new band called Apollo, I’m not well versed in my indie music but I did really enjoy attending their debut show at Noosa’s own crap shack of a bar now given a trendy name, Fusion. I think they are alluding to the fused smell of B.O. and V.B. soaked carpets, regardless of the venue these guys definitely put on a stellar show and I am sure they would like to thank all their friends who attended and a good time was had by all.

La Roux has been climbing the charts for sometime now, Major Lazer mashed up some of their more popular tracks in this new mixtape, they bang pretty hard! I’m not big on electronica but good music is good music.

As I’ve made painfully apparent, I’m by no means a connoisseur of music by any means. A few weeks ago I came across a song by Dirty Projectors that sounded pretty sweet, some investigation revealed their Myspace page. Their music is interestingly unusual and I like it. You can actually download a virtual 7″ from their official site to get a taste of what they do.
Anyway, on to the video. This was taken around September last year by the awesomely haired producer extraordinaire, drummer for The Roots and sneaker freak ?uestlove. Posted on his twitter account, this was performed in their dressing room for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Now if this weren’t caught on video you’d be hard pressed convincing someone that the harmonies weren’t just sampled, but here’s the proof in living colour for all to see.
Whilst I’m in a suggesting mood, I’ve also been listening to Band of Skulls as well as getting back into The White Stripes of late.

Music knowledge extraordinaire Nardwuar sits down again with Snoop Dogg to chop it up, they always have great banter. If you haven’t seen Nardwuar’s videos before i suggest you look him up, the mans knowledge of music is astounding and astonishingly deep, veterans get put on check with Nardwuar The Human Serviette.
- T, Kid Cudi the douche bag big timed him in a recent interview.
